Maggie Q plays Nikita, a former spy and assassin, on The CW’s new drama “Nikita.”  

Maggie Q began her career as a model in Tokyo, and found herself bursting onto the Hong Kong movie scene, eventually becoming a full-fledged superstar in Asia. Her previous credits include “Priest,” with Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet; “Balls of Fury,” with Christopher Walken and George Lopez; “Live Free or Die Hard,” with Bruce Willis; “Mission: Impossible 3,” with Tom Cruise, and “Around the World in 80 Days,” with Jackie Chan, Steve Coogan and Jim Broadbent.

In addition to Maggie’s charitable work with human rights associations like Wild Aid, she has been an advocate for animal rights by supporting PETA and Best Friends for many years.
